Hobart Rivulet Park
This walking track follows the rivulet that runs off kunanyi (Mt. Wellington) into and under the city of Hobart.
Take a left turn at the bottom of the stairs that run through the bush below Slow Beam and you can follow the track into the centre of the city. Adventurous types can tour the underground section that travels through Hobart’s subterranean tunnels.
Stop at Hamlet café at the point where park life meets the street life Alternatively, cross the bridge over the rivulet to get to South Hobart’s main shopping strip and stop in at Bear With Me café and the Salad Bowl. A right turn at the bottom of the stairs takes you into the Cascades, home of the historic brewery and surrounding gardens.
