Jo Duck

Jo Duck is a photographer based in Melbourne taking a cinematic approach to frame scenes in a way that eludes to broader a story in the mind of the viewer. Looking for the unconventional beauty in subjects that are out of the ordinary and rough around the edges.

This photograph is almost the perfect match for the smallest room in Slow Beam. A still life from the Madonna Inn in California that seamlessly blends in with the powder pink, powder room. This image featured in Jo’s series Romantic Boys that was shown at the Photo Fair at the Centre for Contemporary Photography (CCP) in 2019.
